Membership
Sr Patricia and Sr Juliana, the two professed members of the Sisters of the Incarnation, have lived the religious life in community for the past thirty six years.
The Sisters have professed to live under the vows of poverty, chasity and obedience within the Sisters of the Incarnation for Life, which implies living a simple life style and sharing all material things with each other. They live a single life, consecrated to God, Their life of obedience is firstly to God. However their obedience is also grounded in keeping the Community Rule which speaks in a more detailed of the way of how they aspire to live. Their obedience is also grounded in those who are in authority over them.
The Rule of the Sisters of the Incarnation outlines the way they are to live their life of prayer; by worshipping regularly and maintaining an interior silence. The rule says each sister is to have some responsibility for the work at home and to have a ministry in the church. It also encourages the way they are to foster healthy community development and to live together in peace and harmony.
